Yup if you unbuckle and then get up off the seat and it’s on brake hold it will go into park. I believe this is normal behavior.

Ya having this issue since updating to 2024.39. Phone cannot wake up Rivian and app will only connect if I am nearby. Service rep says there’s an outage in my area (service or cell?) and they are working on a fix. This is now day 3 without being able to connect to my Rivian via the app.

I think I’ve seen this behavior before where I was waiting for someone to get in the car and forgot I was in brake hold and then the car went into park. This might be normal behavior though.

With one pedal driving, I do not depress the brake pedal while vehicle is on brake hold. So when these issues happen, my foot is not depressing the brake pedals.

Uh ya? I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t take time out of my day to post on a forum to ask folks for suggestions regarding a problem that can be solved with something as simple as putting my seat belt on lol.

Yup I hear you. I called them back 2 days ago and they reached out to my service center. I’m waiting to see if they can get me in sooner.

Yes it always happen la at red lights. And sometimes multiple times during the same stop. I’ve hit the vehicle diagnostic capture every time it happens. I don’t have an appointment until Nov 26 ?

Nope. Before I thought it was because I was reaching over to grab something. But now I could be sitting the same way and it will shift to park at red light. Really no rhyme or reason.
