Depends. If on-screen browsing/controls are important to you, you may want to consider it. Bluetooth gets you some rudimentary controls but I find they are laggy more often than I'd like.
The big question is which audio system are you getting. I'm assuming it's Premium based on Rivian's...
I also had a mix up with my EV Sportline sliders. This was totally my fault and they were extremely helpful. The slow email responsiveness freaked me out at first but they've never let me down. I wouldn't hesitate to order from them again.
How do they perform offroad? They look like they'd do well but I am just starting to poke around into off-roading so I don't know enough to even Dunning-Krueger this.
Pretty cool. When you're done with it, I'd take a copy. I noticed your symptom with a Tidal track and now I'm going to have to listen more carefully.
Let me know how your testing goes. I feel like something odd happened. Could also be totally some sort of freaky sympathetic audio craziness...
I didn't see your other post so, maybe you're not such a doofus after all.
That's not normal behavior. That seems like some part of a system failure. I've been paying very close attention to the soundstage and for the most part, it sounds like it is coming from in front of the passenger seat...
Ha! OK
Here's a view outside the windshield. Excuse the bugs. Near Collinsville Illinois. 170 feet tall. Built in the late 40s for the Brooks Rich & Tangy Catsup bottling plant. I'm super curious about what that flavor was all about. The bottle is 70 feet itself on a 100 foot tower. It...
Did our first road trip from Phx to Connecticut last year and had the whole thing planned out using natural and artificial intelligence. Charging stops, places to eat, where to see the largest ketchup bottle and picnic basket, hotels and so on. We learned very quickly that the truck was way...
Yes but no. Not right now. That happened to me after one of the updates last year. Soft reset fixed it.
I have a different "issue". It's almost not an issue really, but I am noticing more rear-ish biased audio for the last week or so.
No, it's not Atmos mixes in Tidal. It is straight...
You need a category for "I'm super interested, have done some in the past but not on the Rivian because I didn't think I would do it enough to warrant getting the All Terrain wheels over the Range 22s but then the first week I got it, went trailing around on Level 1 trails and realized this was...
This was my experience. As long as my phone screen was on in some way, truck unlocked without any issues, now it's perfect. Phone in pocket door unlocks. It's great.
I'm not currently looking for tires, but I can't thank you all enough for this kind of information. I will eventually have to tackle this and it's good to see what to avoid.
Does this seem to be coming from the front somewhere? Hard to localize?
If so, you can do a quick test. Take off the cover panel in the front trunk that goes over the air filter. It spans the width of the opening near the glass. Then drive the same speeds and see if it still happens.
If...
This... I've been doing audio things for a while and this system really really sounds like speakers wired out of phase.. I haven't had the chance to do any phantom channel testing but I even had the Serivce Center check the wiring. They say it's wired up correctly but I doubt they could trace...
You're going to love it.
We took our R1T from Arizona to Connecticut in May. Was crazy fun. Super comfortable. Totally capable. Rock solid. I know it sounds unreasonably fan-boyish but it was so much more satisfying than I expected.
Exactly. Take a temp gun and measure the air coming out of your AC vents in the summer. It's not coming out at 73 degrees or whatever temp you have set, it's probably coming out at 54. Then it turns off when the thermostat reads 73 (or whatever you have set). Cars AC runs the same way. It...
