I am sure this person is very accomplished and serious. As a consumer, I am done with promises, projections, future OTA features. I will pay for what is functional at point of sale and hope I do not wind up with yet another subscription fee.
I really do not care about what is coming "s00n"...
So different it is still not "feature complete" or whatever other stupid Tesla buzzwords one might use. The point is, it don't work like that yet and it might never work like that (how RJ said it will).
$400,000,000.00 is not really a "big" number for the U.S. Department of State for Armored Vehicles. The fact the line item shows "Armored EV''s" is noteworthy as well as the likelihood Tesla might supply them. GM would actually make more sense as they have larger EV's capable of higher payloads...
I wonder if these might be CyberTrucks or perhaps a mixture of Elmo's finest vehicles, as provided by his robotics company?

"Armored Electric Vehicles"...
@SASSquatch
Thanks and right back at you!
I normally do not post anything really personal or emotional, however, like you and so many others these massive changes are hurting many people and if we are honest, people will die due to first, second, and even third order effects of DOGE actions...
I am a Personal Services Contractor (PSC) not a tenured U.S. Government employee. My contract is between me and the Department (no Third-Party Corporation) which employees me. Best case scenario is my contract is not renewed in a couple months, worst case is I simply will be unemployed in less...
I hear you and have generally agreed wholeheartedly with the sentiment. It is not the products fault; you have already paid or are paying for them.
Maybe I do have some form of derangement syndrome, however, my emotions definitely seem to trump my logic at this point in time.
Glad we can still...
Went off purposefully; wedding tackle does not work on them. Home after months away and enjoy effective and repetitive "relations" with my wife. Worth it to me. Apologies if my rants have been too much for you. Thanks for your perpsective.
Thanks, it is real and almost certain at this point. I am just one of many and likely not the worst thing for me as my work tends to be very dangerous.
Obviously? No. My opinion is "yes" it is quite obviously the benchmark in North America which is why Ford, Rivian, Polestar/Volvo, Mercedes-Benz, Hyundai/Genesis/Kia, etc. have sought and received access at considerable expense.
Shhheeeeeyat, and I thought I was crazy!
More elegant...
The current service paradigm is not effective and only hurts Rivian's brand and share price. Kudos for thinking outside the box. Unfortunately, just because one has a great idea does not mean it will evolve into an effective program. I really hope we realize options like the one you have outlined.
