Still waiting for the update. Hoping that it fixes the bug I got last time of only showing one vehicle in front of me and nothing else - even in wall-to-wall traffic. Service center said it "should" be fixed with the update, but they really don't know and didn't try all that hard.
With that...
Sorry to necro this thread, but I guess a permanent fix did NOT happen. While my Rivian was in service last week, the update was deployed and when my Rivian was returned to me for a different issue (random 12V battery fluctuations causing EBS silliness) I no longer am able to see any other...
In my most recent service center visit, I asked the tech if they could roll back the most recent update so that I could get my visualizations of surrounding cars back on my drivers display. They told me that they weren't allowed to do that.
My sense was that that functionality IS in there...
Have a 2025 Gen2 R1S Tri. I regularly charge to 70% nightly and it gives me a range of about 280miles... Yes, that's at 70%. I drive fairly aggressively, and drive in a mix of highway and street traffic 60 miles daily. In the Tri, you'll be absolutely fine - even if you live in subzero...
How come when I tap on the menu bar 5x after hitting the service button, it just keeps scrolling back down to that service selector. I can't seem to get passed this step. Gen2 R1S Tri.
Maybe its just me. All that horsepower and acceleration sounds GREAT on paper, but in reality its fucking scary to let the beast out of the cage. I spend most of my time commuting to/from work on highways at 70ish mph. The few times I've had an open stretch that was straight and unpopulated...
This was my first impression of the steering too. However I think Killer95Stang hit it on the head. I'm coming from a Volvo XC60 which had firm steering making it feel a bit sportier. Understandably, this is a huge SUV that is 3x the weight of the Volvo so I understand why the steering is the...
Not sure why we are making excuses here for Sirius and/or Rivian. Four LTE Bars of 4G for a 40 minute commute and the entire time it shows "Attempting to Connect" is unacceptable. Even when I had 4G as the standard, what - 10 years ago, I was able to stream XM in my car.
XM Online shows the...
So very strange then because online in XM it shows the Rivian. On the way to to work this morning, I had four bars the entire way, but XM in the Rivian shows "trying to connect". Shows that it has recognized my listener profile, but also says "No Subscription". Just all kinds of issues...
YES! Same for me. I have four bars and it consistently says, "trying to connect". The ONLY time it does connect seamlessly is after a full restart (not a console restart). then it connects and instantly recognizes my username and account info. Come back the next day and its back to "trying...
Not sure its much of a press; probably more like a touch on the indentation part. If its anything like my Volvo, that had a similar behavior where if you had the keyfob with you, you could just touch on the indentation to lock and unlock. Could be a short delay (like 1 second) before it...
