Yeah I totally understand what you mean and I will look into it more, but I am certain it is not cruise control in these situations. SC had ruled that out as well. I'm sure it will happen again and I plan on pulling over immediately this time to check any CC settings. Either way I have to drop...
I wouldn't call it an assertion exactly ha, but no I haven't used cruise control on this car before. I never drive far and LA traffic is out of control. But certainly cruise control wouldn't work by seemingly giving full 850HP when needing to increase speed.
I know what you mean, but no I've never used cruise control before. It was for sure not on. If you experienced what I'm talking about you'd know it wasn't cruise control. Valid thought though.
I feel the need to reply about this for a few reasons First, unfortunately this was in my town and I have kids the same age that used to go to school with these kids that now go to that school so hits close to home.
So right when I saw it was a Rivian and in a school pickup line (which I do...
Well that answers that question. I checked "Open to other EVS" and "Open to NACs partners" and even in Los Angeles it is pretty limited and as you suggested does not include the giant 30 stall one down the street from me. Interesting. Thanks for that
Yeah I know, don't have to go wild here. I have that adapter because it would come overnight for a trip I had planned the next day (even though I didn't end up needing it and made it the whole way). I couldn't care less about it breaking, or the $, or the car...my only concern I agree with is...
Thanks for all the replies that straightened this out. Last stupid question - Just moving into a new house that came with a Tesla charger hardwired to box. Should be able to use this adapter I showed you with the Tesla home charger? Or swap it for an outlet and use my current 240v portable? If...
" Even some of the newer sites are not open to NACS " - Ok that makes sense then. I was under the assumption any new ones would be. So basically just use Rivian's map and my Rivian account and it should be accurate?
I thought it may have been this, but these are relatively newly installed so it was surprising. I am also in the Los Angeles area so I assumed I would find tons of compatible fast chargers (specifically Tesla superchargers) but there are usually nothing nearby surprisingly. Just trying to wrap...
Hi guys - I know this has been asked but I can't find this specific question/answer, so yell at me if you'd like but anyway (long time car forum user here)...I charge at home but for some long trips I want be able to use Tesla's superchargers. So I bought this...
Hey so I know people probably ask this all the time as I am not new at all to car forums, but I am new to Rivian forums as you can see. But anyway, I can choose between a 2022 R1T Quad Motor with 8k miles or a 2023 with 3x as many miles for the same price. Part of me thinks newer is better...
