No regrets, it looks great! I've had my FG R1T since March of '22 and still love the color. I would have got it on the R2 (order went in last Tuesday) if it was available currently.

I was a Day 1, first minute pre-order, have owned my R1T since March 2022, but live 150 miles from a SC. Got the text to configure at 11:01 this morning and an email to do so an hour later. Due to my distance from the SC, I did not expect this to happen so s00n, but I'm glad it did! Catalina...

Mobile Service just replaced my 12v batteries today. Date code was 12/21. He said they may be the oldest ones he has seen. Figures it would happen on the same day that my order went in on an R2.

Just submitted order info. Got the email at 12:02 pm eastern time. Day one order (first minute it went live). Of course it would happen today - Rivian Mobile Service left here an hour ago after replacing my 12v batteries... :)

Can't wait to try out the Rivian Assistant - finally messaging support after over 4 years of promises of it coming sOOn!

Gen 1 actually started shipping to customers in late 2021 as I recall...

Definitely need to ceramic coat white wheels to help keep them clean!

I will second the recommendation for EVSportline. I got a set of their first batch for my R1T, and they are showing little if any signs of wear - and they get salt spray all winter.

I've done the Corvette factory tour twice in Bowling Green - it's a great tour!

I was never offered a test drive. The first time I saw an R1T was the day mine arrived at my house on the back of a flatbed in early March 2022.

I took a demo drive in a 2026 R1S today and the Rivian employee told me that the release of the Gen 3 R1 is probably 2 years out. I'll wait until final specs on the R2 are released to decide which route to go.

According to the Charging map on rivian.com the Lansing RAN is now open - anyone around there checked into it yet?

I normally keep mine plugged in for much of the winter also. I usually only drive it a few days a week, but it is nice to have the truck plugged in so If I end up wanting to go any significant distance on a cold snowy morning I can use the app to precondition in the garage on shore power prior...

I've found it also helps to raise the ride height to get those running boards higher... :cool:

I got back yesterday from a 6-day 2000-mile round trip from northern MI to eastern CT. Hotspot worked great for us. Longest trip we have taken so far in the R1T - it continues to impress as a road tripper! Having the NACS adapter proved to be very helpful as well, but the RAN locations are...

Glad to see that is finally online. No good DCFC options in the northern GR area until now.
