I've only used high in a lot of vehicles after trying out the other modes. High isn't too harsh as long as you modulate it with your foot. If you want to easily coast, then be gentle with the foot. It's as gentle or as aggressive as anyone could hope for if the foot modulates properly.
Ummm....talking about marketing, what about this article that said it was 'sponsored' in the weekly email I get. Yeah, I figured it was planted. I've THOROUGHLY enjoyed my R1S gen 2. Definitely worth the money. Don't let this marketing fool you. They've improved enough by now to be ready for...
we have 2 kids, and I can confirm that the Lyriq back seat is slightly more spacious..I think like 39" of rear seat leg room vs R1S at 36.5". The car seats in the Lyriq had slightly more space than we have in the R1S, though the rear storage is much better in the R1S. The Lyriq wasn't bad for...

i have a 2025 R1S and love it. I’ve owned a few EVs, and this is the best by far. A Gen 1 R1S tho I might stay away from. Especially the quad— does have range issues and 12v issues
I got a good wave from a passing Rivian driver recently! How nice. Just please don't start doing things like the Jeep owners do and putting rubber ducks on the hood or something . ha
Mine seems to be working well. I had to do a vehicle reset once when I got in and none of the sensors were working--something that had not happened before. After the rest, they worked great. Lane changes were smooth. And on a mapped highway, I used my hands free feature for 25 miles until I got...
