I've been waiting for the same thing. Sorta refuse to hand over $3k with no pricing structure nor any planned production start date. Been also difficult since they've magically made the Youngtown, OH service center disappear off the planned map too.
I wouldn't hold your breath on the Youngstown location. It looks like it was removed from the "in the works" on the website.
How are you all handling the situation of the closest service center being Cleveland? I am also from the Pittsburgh area, and its really making the purchase a hard call...
Another reason its easier to have a private shop apply the PPF as opposed to the factory. I wouldn't trust a body shop to safely remove PPF either. I would have my private shop remove it and then give it to the body shop.
Ah, thats a different variable. Now, with that said, I think you still fall under category #1, its a personalized plate via the school. As long as Dickinson hasn't changed their plate design, it should be able to be duplicated.
When I read that #2, I think it means that you just want a new...
This unfortunately is not accurate.
You can replace a custom and non-custom plate via form: MV-46

lol No, if your state only uses one, then thats it. You are not applicable to the visiting state's laws for your vehicle as it is not registered there.
Yes, but also remember that VW also has pull on this. If a dealer wants to play hardball, they can simply threaten to pull the dealership. GM didn't allow Chevy dealers to just decide not to sell the Volt, and VW is big enough, they aren't going to let dealerships attempt to push them over.
Another consideration/challenge for Scout will be Service Centers. There has been a large focus on the factory, but they haven't really detailed much about the SC situation. Major Metro is "nice" but that puts them far behind Rivian's network, which in itself, is severely limited.
Scout...
When they push your appointment, is it based on severity? As in, that won't impact drivability?
Also, you don't want your car worked on on the weekends. At dealerships, the good techs don't work during the weekends, the new guys and inexperience work then. Avoid weekend appointments like a...
Geez, I didn't realize that the other car was a super duty, that makes this all the more impressive. You get hit by a SUV or something with plastic bumpers, thats good news. You get hit by a 8000lb+ body on frame with steel bumpers, and thats all the damage you have, thats really impressive.
I agree that this is a great idea, so many car companies are suffering from this issue now that we've changed over to LED.
That said, I'm little concerned about fogging within the housing. As that heating system begins to work, the ice is going to cause localized condensation inside the...
As a new member to this forum, I've been rather discouraged by some of the 'community' response to someone voicing displeasure for the product and going another direction. The OP obviously has had a large number of issues, and if this was a legacy car company, most would be saying "well, back...
