I switched from OEM Pirellis to the Nokian Ones. To me the ride is quieter. I feel like the Nokians have more grip than the Pirellis and they've been great in downpours. Overall super happy with them.
Had the Nokian One's installed on Wednesday. So far they're great. Ride feels a bit softer and the tires definitely feel like they have more grip.
I'm still monitoring the range- in some cases I've seen the range increase dramatically and in other cases it's lower. I haven't done anything...
How is this possible? I just looked it up and it's $920 for all four tires, including installation?!
That's insane. I was looking at the Nokians for all weather and I live in an urban area with lots of city driving- so something that is quiet and responsive is all I need.
Thanks for this...
Here's what I got from a sales person- I entered information for a trade-in estimate earlier today (March 12).
The sales person contacted me wanting to know if I was still interested in trading in my car for an R1S or R1T.
I told them that I was actually checking to see what the value/cost...
As a California native now on the East Coast, I partially based my El Cap color selection on my love of Yosemite. I'm not above saying I'd pick Half Moon Grey for the same love of my home state.
Is your whole persona just going online and belittling people and pretending you’re better than everyone else?
seems like you’re just insufferable.
I don’t like someone’s opinion online …. I’m going to tell them what a big grown up I am and how they’re just not as evolved as I am. I do...
If me wanting the basic functions of my car to work trouble free is “an incredible level of entitlement” then ok. Guess I’m guilty.
it’s entirely ok to like something and also be disappointed by certain aspects of it. I love my car but I’m also disappointed by parts of it.
Being pollyannish...
Often. I've had to do 2 soft restarts and one "hard" restart after the last software update. Sometimes the car likes to do the soft restarts on its own as an added treat.
If they're obviously aware of it then why does it persist? It shows a lack of management and focus when they're rolling out buggy new features and the legacy systems still don't work.
I get that this is a Rivian forum and saying negative things won't be well received but to say "oh I'm sure...
I've really hit my wall with the Rivian software.
I don't care about the Carplay arguments. I like Carplay and I understand why it's not a perfect fit for Rivian. This isn't about that.
There's no reason in late 2025 for a car that has been in production for a few years now to continue to...
Just booked service there for the 16th. Had options to book on the 15th as well.
Living in DC it's nice to have Sterling, Gaithersburg, and Glen Burnie all roughly the same distance.
Im not sure what Starlink has to do with Tesla as a company being a dumpster fire.
Also, SpaceX is actually run by Gwynne Shotwell and she’s an actual professional.
