Actually OP, me, did attempt to update that it is indeed disabled now.

After whatever they did on the backend and 2 hard resets all my drives are once again PRE-approved.

Hopefully that means I will be accidently added to the soon to be released Apple CarPlay beta. 😝

Service called back. It sounds like they did something on the backend. They said I should do two hard resets when I get back to the truck to ensure it takes effect.

Agreed. I am patient with software issues. I work in tech, so I know the drill. However, I was shocked by how blithely the first service rep told me this was standard and not something that could be turned off.

Thats a good suggestion. Just force closed the app and tried the truck and it didnt ask for approval. Im not enitely convinced this is a proper test though. Will see what happens in the morning. This happened on two different phones. Thank you for the suggestion.
