Ended up buying a 2025 Porsche Taycan Turbo GT to replace my Model S Plaid. Love it. Still have my deposit on the R1S Quad. Now I hope they come out with the Quad in 2026 - then can get rid of my CT and replace with the Rivian.

Soon could mean a month or a year. Depending how you define "soon". Coming 1Q, 2Q, 3Q would be better. If 3Q I would request my deposit back and get the G580 or Taycan GTS. Different beasts but both great EV's.

2025 R1S Quad?? I have had a deposit on a 2025 R1S Quad for six months. Lease on my Model S is up in March. Rivian is giving me NO information as to when I can order my vehicle. They say "maybe Q4, Q3 or Q2". This is not acceptable. They might lose me to Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo or G580. I...
