I have this same problem every time I charge at home with my tesla charger. I have two different adapters and same problem with both.
Does anyone using a Rivian home charger have this problem?
My husband bought the Lectron one on Amazon for his BMW i4, and it works great. I bought one from A2Z but haven't tried it yet because I don't pick up my R1S until Saturday. These were the 2 brands that I heard were reliable. Be warned though that the A2Z one took 3 weeks to arrive.
I originally ordered a R1S dual motor max battery and planned to pay off the lease within a couple of months. However, I decided that I did not want to access that much cash with the market dropping and so much uncertainty, so I switched to standard battery. The interest rate on the lease is...
Add together your trade-in offer and the $3000 discount for the max pack. Input this number for down payment to find out what your lease payment will be. I found the monthly payment to be accurate when doing so.
For me, it would not make sense to do a lease unless I intend to pay it off within a couple of months. The interest rate on the lease is close to 8%, but the interest rate on my high-yield savings account is only 3.7%, and by the time I pay taxes on the interest earned, it is obviously even...
Thanks everyone for your responses. Fortunately, I could purchase the car but am planning to start with the lease and then pay it off after a few months.
I know the logic is that tariffs will lead to higher prices but things are soooo unpredictable right now that deflation or stagflation in the...
I don't have an answer but am wondering about this too. It seems as if the interest rate on the R1S dual standards is below 3% whereas the other R1S's are near 8%. This is what I came up with by using 60% residual value for them.
Hi everyone. I am scheduled to pick up an R1S in about 10 days but am having cold feet. Interest rates on loans and leases are quite high, and I am worried about overpaying for my car. Concerns include tariffs kicking in, unpredictability caused by them and consumer sentiment and spending...
I received these numbers when I applied for a lease from Rivian/Chase. The monthly payment seems crazy high. How can I determine what the money factor is? (My sales tax rate is 7.75% in CA)
