This just happened to me for the first time yesterday driving home from work.

I recently traded my Model X for a Gen1 R1S and pet mode has been a must as my dog goes everywhere with me (90lb Bernedoodle). So far (2 months) pet mode has functioned just as well as it did in my two Teslas before it.
