  1. Question re map and re camera

Is there a way to see alternate routes, like the way Google Maps functions on a smart phone?
  2. Finally — Apple Wallet Car Key is Activated!

Anyone know what the differences will be from using the iPhone Rivian app?
  3. Rear Wheel Steering Development

Rear wheel steering is the only feature that I miss after finishing a lease of an EQS SUV 580 and now leasing a R1S Tri. The maneuverability in parking lots was excellent.
  4. Driver Display Needs More Customization

Someone above mentioned an analog clock. But I think a small digital clock (I know that there is one on the main display, but I find it difficult to look all the way over to the right when there is plenty of room on the driver display, for easier access.
  5. Hands free driving on I5 for 6 hours

As mentioned above, whenever I look away to view mirrors or even glance at the clock, the system prompts me to keep eyes on the road.
  6. Front bumper parking sensor giving false positives

My 2025 R1S Tri has been giving me false positives from it's parking sensor that is located on the left side, front corner. It activates when driving slow in a parking lot or roadway. Or when coming to a stop at a red light. This occurs when there is nothing in front of it. Has anybody else...
  7. Vampire Drain 0.2%/day.... Essentially Zero?

    Rates in Vegas are around 0.13 (100kw battery) x (charged to 90%) x (3% drain) = 2.7kw x (0.13 electric rate) = $0.35 per day (is my math correct?)
  8. Vampire Drain 0.2%/day.... Essentially Zero?

I owned a Tesla Model S from 2017 until 2021. It had a 3% per day vampire drain the entire time that I owned it.
  9. In Gauge View, my torque (blue) and regen (green) levels are no longer displayed

Anybody else seeing this? The graphic still shows the direction the wheels are pointing, but no representation of torque/regen while driving. I believe it lost this functionality with the current update.
  10. What are the downsides of full time Sport Mode?

I prefer Sport Mode because of the stiffer steering. I find AP Mode steering to be too loosey-goosey (for lack of a more mature phrase). What are the down sides (besides range) that can effect my tires and the vehicle in general?
  11. Key Fob lock button double press

It's the "Locking" that I have a question about. If you get a chance to look at page 33 of the current Owner's Manual you will see that both Single Click and Double Click is supposed to lock the vehicle. In my case, sometimes the Single Click doesn't work, and then I have to double click to Lock.
  12. Key Fob lock button double press

I have a question about the key fob that I own for my Gen 2 R1S. Sometimes a single press will lock my vehicle and sometimes I have to double press for it to lock. Is there a setting so that a single press will lock it? In the manual it seems to show that either a single or a double will lock...
  13. Would there be any issues keeping Ride Height at "Low" full time, while in AP

My wife is short and has difficulty exiting our R1S. I'm aware of "Kneeling", but we always forget to not open the doors after parking. before kneeling has completed. If I take it off "Auto" Ride Height, when I start driving, and set for "Low", we find that it's low enough for her to exit.
  14. Can two different Key Fobs be assigned to the same driver?

Can two different Key Fobs be assigned to the same driver?
  15. Tri-Motor 0-60 speed.

Thanks. The reason that I started this thread was that after owning 3 previous EV's, (with lower 0-60 ratings) I don't feel as much "violence" in my new Tri-motor. For example when I'm cruising at 65 mph and I want to punch it, it just doesn't seem to through me back into my seat as I would have...
  16. Tri-Motor 0-60 speed.

Thanks for this insight, it was something that I thought might be why my Rivian felt different when flooring it. Also, what do you mean be "pre-load"?
  17. Tri-Motor 0-60 speed.

I have the standard wheels/tires that shipped with the vehicle: 22" Sport Bright wheels
  18. Tri-Motor 0-60 speed.

That is disappointing. Don't get me wrong, I very much like my R1S, but my previous EV's would slam me into the seat.
  19. Tri-Motor 0-60 speed.

It seems Sport Mode defaults to "Lowest"
