I just talked to them again today and it sounds like it was a wholesale deal and it’s on its way to Jackson Hole Wyoming! That was quick.. I really thought they’d list it for something like 93-95 and it’d be gone in no time.
Hey all, just a farewell from me, I've sold off the Rivian and went back to a Ram. I sure loved that truck but unfortunately there were just some key things that it couldn't meet that I needed it to. Hope all of you all the best! I'm not done with electric's, just going to let things mature a...
I'm sure the answer is out there in black and white, but I can't find it. I've read through the rules/regulations I can find and the answer still isn't clear to me so hoping there might be someone here that's crossed this path. I took delivery in June 2022 so I know I qualify for the $7500 tax...
@EVnewb , mine was the same way and didn’t want to latch closed again. Once it warmed up in the garage though it did end up working normal. However there’s a lot of play in the release lever now, haven’t even tried to open it again…
“Fixed an issue when the Power lift gate operation setting didn’t persist during vehicle sleep and software update.”
Power lift gate?? What’s that?
I lubed day one and each time I washed it, all but I think two of the panels are now sitting on my garage shelf…. But, I did make my own cover that slides into the rails for now. Can’t wait for 2.0.
Just finished my go with 1x 4x8 sheet of HPDE from Menards and four aluminum braces for sag support. I had to cut extender strips for each side and just used rivets to attach those to the center piece. Then used self tappers to go into the 4’ aluminum bars that run across it. One coat of...
I had mobile support here last week and I had the "tocking" and lots of it. I don't know exactly what the tech did but the "tocking" is completely gone as of now. Sounds like it won't stay that way for long based upon others feedback on this forum but for now I'm happy. The tech did explain...
I stopped by Menards today to look at the HDPE panels and they'd no doubt work for this. I'd probably just do 3x panels with maybe weather stripping between each panel. I was moments from buying it and the thought crossed my mind, this truck cost more than my first house and here I am trying...
a working tonneau cover is #1 on my list and it’s not even close. The clock on the drivers display is a comfortable #2. I don’t use a lot of the fancy software features really.
agreed. Sturdier plastic planks with small hinges for easy folding. ?
maybe something like these HDPE panels: https://www.menards.com/main/building-materials/panel-products/plastic-utility-panels/1-4-x-4-x-8-hdpe-panel/blkhdpe48x96x220/p-1561703293089-c-14048.htm?tid=528858712997473398&ipos=1
Love the creativity! The foam board is interesting, might look at that myself for highway efficiency sake. Sure hope Rivian themselves read this, $80k+ and we’re making our own tonneau covers out of wood and foam….seriously
So this weekend the Riv is sitting on a rim when I come out, caught a nail. No big deal right. Problem was, the spare tire latch and lid are froze. Took me forever to get it open by jumping on the lid to break ice/snow and eventually get it open but the latch to release the lid appears broke...
Looks good to me! Yep, I used outdoor acrylic paint from the hobby store. Fiesta yellow, it’s pretty darn close in color. I’m a couple weeks in at this point and no peeling as of now. Did a few coats using the heat gun in between. Pics posted in another thread on here somewhere..
I had the recall fix and my tock remains.. hearing at least three or four songs n every acceleration from stop and the same on stopping. It’s the same in sport, conserve and all purpose. Annoying!
