Did you call Tesla supercharger support? (Of course, if it's a weekend there is no one there...) And there are Superchargers and Apple green chargers just off 476 north of Jim Thorpe as well as others in the area....
I NEVER do deep charges on the road. I much prefer to Supercharger-hop, and this generally is what the car (2021 Model Y) asks me to do, as it usually results in a shorter overall time for the trip.
This thread kind of takes me back to the days of 'range anxiety' of the late 2010's. Before I got my Model Y in 2021, I, too, was concerned about it. But then I got the car and have no issues with the range since (and my battery is at about 86% capacity compared to new). As long as there are...
If you've been researching the CT, then you're aware of the multitude of issues associated with it, the latest being with the Power Conversion System (PCS). Many owners are on their second one and they are now failing, and the wait time seems to be in multiple weeks, if not months, for...
Did my demo yesterday, it was great. Really enjoyed the car, as did my wife (although she didn't like the look of the door handles when unlocked, lol). Spent some time in the showroom car afterwards. Plan is to get one next year at some point, probably second half.
I can't really add a lot to what's been said already. Did a test drive yesterday in Woodbridge NJ, had been trying to book on since early June. Really liked the car, although it felt like it desperately needed a front end alignment (at least I hope it did...). Amazed at the rear seats leg room -...
My definition of coasting is like pushing out the clutch on a car with a manual transmission or putting it in neutral with an automatic. Engine is idling. I guess the EV version of that would be the motor at zero revolutions but not slowing the car down - as I noted, like 'Roll' mode in my...
? Well, yeah, but it immediately starts slowing to a halt eventually, unless you're in Roll/Coast mode... which apparently Rivian doesn't offer. That's the OP's point.
I assume you mean 'quantity'. And Tesla is no longer committed to cars, so at some point, Rivian will certainly outsell them, especially when the R3 hits.
And I don't think you can compare the $39k Cybertruck with a $45k Rivian. For one thing, the CT was a complete botch job by Elon, way over...
Hi, March 2025 reservation here - just got my email advising me of December 2026 - February 2027 order window. Pleasant surprise to see that I'll be able to order a Launch Edition if I want. The timing is good for me, as I wanted to give it a year before thinking about ordering, and my Model Y...
