This just happened to me on my 2-week old R1S. The driver-side mirror is folded out, but no longer folds back in. It makes sound, but no motion. Scheduled a home repair, but its not available for 7 weeks. Oh well. At least the mirror is stuck folded out.

Thanks all. I will try these out. I might go with disabling the BT on the phone app and get a key fob I can store in our key drawer which is a little further away from the vehicle. Does anyone know how sensitive the car and fob combo are?

Is this for consistent wind noise? Mine (2025 R1S) makes noise from 35-45 only. It is a whistling sound and seems to come from the center of windshield.

Same for us. We had 2 Teslas an X and a 3. The 3 worked 100% of the time, the X would not work sometimes, usually after a software update. We started carrying the door card because you never knew when it would happen.

Price is the issue. I suspect the base model will be close. But the list of options that you can add seems much longer than a typical vehicle. I suspect some people will stack options like ordering at an ice cream store. And be shocked to see they are closer to $50K than $30K.
