I have next to NO experience as I just bought my first EV on Friday, and my electrician ran a 60A line to the front of the house. After a bunch of research, I bought the Tesla Universal. Wired up easily, powered up easily, and the set up was easy (OK, I f'd up the initial set up with the Tesla...

I've had ONE flat on a cage... So yeah, chances are slim, but the flat I had? BFE, 1.5 hours from home, at night on the side of I35, just north of Hillsboro, Texas...a 35" monster tire on the RR of my F150. Sucked kinda bad. Leaning towards the little spare.

Howdy... My new R1S that I'm taking delivery on Friday has no on-board air compressor...which is of minimal concern, but what's the conventional wisdom on a spare? Patch kit only+jack+compressor? Full size spare? Itty Bitty+jack+compressor? Can't see myself with a full sized spare...not...

This is the way I think. If we stay in our current home longer, I can dig into the expense...I've got all kinds of room in my panel, I'd just have to pull a bunch of 6awg...

Good morning! Thank you both for your replies! My panel is only 150A. I will likely use the mobile charger with a 220v dryer plug adapter for the interim as we are planning a move in the next few months. Unless maybe anyone thinks it makes sense to purchase a level 2, wire a plug...

Hello all! This is my first post. This is also my first EV. I feel incredibly lost, but excited. I've searched to find some answers but fell just a bit short. As luck would have it, and a contributing factor in buying an EV, I have an old drier connection that's on an exterior wall...
