I am currently tapped in to the 12v power in the gear tunnel. Apparently that shuts off when the truck sleeps. I have not been able to confirm because I am not sure that it is going into sleep mode. I left it overnight and came out to find that the amp is still powered on without any interaction...

Anyone find a good signal wire in the Gen 2? I opened up the wire bundle by the sub but did not find the pink wire. My Wavtech is not powering on with the speaker signal. 🙁

I saw in some other threads that there is an obvious + and - on the speaker wires. My speaker has red and black so I am assuming red is +. The wiring harness does not have any indication that I can see.

I thought the Wavetech could detect power from the speaker wires. Why was this pink wire signal necessary?

Any reason why you didn't use the battery under the passenger seat like other installs?
