Going to circle back on this again, as I don't think I've seen an answer (thread is incredibly long though, so forgive me if I've missed it) but has anyone mounted crossbars to their topper, and if so can you provide info on what you used? The mounts look to be a bit wider than other camper...

I love the cap so far but I'm battling with water intrusion at the bulk head. I initially thought I'd missed something with the sealant but I've been testing it and it pools up in the gap between the cap and the rear truck window and is them finding it's way inside. I assume that 3m gasket is...

The weight limit on these does seem low for heavier items, like a tent. Has anyone else identified one that will work with the topper?
