Did you see what Driveway or Carvana are offering, I feel like they would buy it for 90K and it would be easier than private sell.
Driveway is currently selling one (as pending) for $99K and they run with super slim margins.
Apparently my knowledge of Private Sales was lacking. I assumed you didn't pay taxes on Private sales.. But DMV does take it when you register the used car. Thanks for the Correction.
Current resale for r1t is around 10k profit on the sale. Not sure why you think you are making anyone a deal....
Im in 8 steps right now. Will put two hundred or so miles on my r1t to decide if I want to keep it over the lightning. If someone offers me around 93k for it , I may sell it if I...
never heard of this site before, that might be why :)
But, it is definitely cooling, and I imagine where it is being sold at would dictate how much someone is willing to spend -- given that there's a fair amount on the market right now, no one wants to to fly out and drive thousands of miles...
I've seen at least 5 different one's on the road, and one of my neighbors has one.
I have a Lightning and I've only ever seen 1 other lightning.
Just got my "Get an R1T Sooner" email, so it seems to be getting closer to reality that I'll need to make a decision on the two Trucks.
The wording on their fix is updates to improve it "against manufacturing build variations." I'm guessing that the tolerances from production mass manufacturing are not up to snuff compared to their earlier / slower pre-production builds.
No reason to stay within the 70% arbitrary limit. Just charge to 80-90% and it'll be practically no different. Can save 70% for the rest of the week.
Just drive the truck.
Teslas with heavy abuse ((DC fast charging) after 100K miles only have ~10% degradation.
People seem to think there's something uniquely slow about rivian service. Go to a traditional dealer, it's not much better.
It took me a month to get an appointment for my Ioniq 5 to get the 30 minute software fix for their recall. And there are three Hyundai dealers in 20 miles of me, all...
If you are on a road trip (and not staying overnight), then "Free" charging is not really something you should expect.
It's unlikely you are going to to make it from SF to Truckee on one charge in the snow season.
Go to an Electrify America station in Auburn and charge for 30-40 minutes on...
Pretty disappointing to hear. The driving assistant features would be a big selling point for me wanting to trade my XLT lightning for the rivian. It sounds like they are subpar even when working.
It should be able to match and exceed my Ioniq 5 SEL, but doesn't sound like it.
What I want out...
More reliable because they were custom built for this purpose.
The existing chargers are basically a hodgepodge of parts and software to function as an EV charger which doesn't help for reliability.
This should bring them closer to Tesla. If Tesla is like v4 of chargers right now, EAs been...
5/2021 Order in CA, near a service center.
I just noticed my Rivian order didn't have a tonneau covered selected. I missed the memo that I had to select that, thought it came standard with the Adventure trim (was previously canceled Explore Trim).
Now I have a config that they are actually...
I would assume so, right now XLTs are going for 80k+ on the used market.
For me, to upgrade to a rivian for free, I would need to sell my XLT standard for 67k, that assumes I can claim the full 7500 credit with rivian.
Yes. It's a fairly standard roll and lock system.
Rivian's as far as I know is a entirely new design as it folds and stacks which likely allows too much space for little bits to invade as it folds creating more failure points.
