Has anyone mounted a set of these in the fronk? I just got mine in to store my crossbars that have light pods mounted to them. Thinking about keeping these stored in the truck for out of the weather access.

Looking to buy some used OEM Black Crossbars for a roof rack lighting project. Im near Charlotte NC, but would be willing to drive a couple of hours or so for the right pickup.

I will say that when it works I like it a lot. Not too loud. Good audio quality. And the lamp feature is nice. It’s a great “let’s sit outside and drink a glass of wine on a nice night” Bluetooth speaker.

I still have hiccups with mine but lately when I use it - I will “pair” - then afterwards I will “unpair” from my device in the Bluetooth app (Apple iOS). Otherwise, my phone will connect to it at 2am and start playing podcasts. Lol.

Thanks for sharing this! I just installed these same DCE ditch lights yesterday and noticed the vibration. I'll have to find a piece of rubber to install on the rear hood bolt like shown in your photo.

Hey E30slide - Do you remember which fuse you connected the wire wire (Accessory Power Observer) into when installing the fuse/switchbox?

I ended pickup up one of these and had it delivered today. Seems to fit well. It is fully supported by sun visors it seems so it will be interesting to see how that ages over time (Does the sun visor spring hold up) I do like the idea of the UV film and if I replace my windshield in the future...
