I use a monthly membership car wash now, and it's easy to just run the R1 through on my way home from work. It even applies the right amount of tire shine, haha. It's the little things...

There's a "Clear Settings" option in the service menu. Also make sure to remove any previous owner paired keys and phones. You'll start in the app and it will ask to pair to the vehicle. It will walk you through the process.

I get the same thing when I'm backing into my driveway. There's a tree on the corner of my driveway that seems to be just close enough for the sensors to pick it up and it gives a cross-traffic warning when reversing. Annoying, but I've come to expect it now.
