I’ve had my radar detector installed since day one. I’m 6 months into ownership and nothing has changed on my end. Seems like a problem or a change with latest software.
I have unplugged my detector and still won’t sleep.
Interesting... yeah I have a tap as well. Maybe the car is doing something and will resolve itself. I opened a service request and I'm hoping they can pull some logs from the car to see why it's not sleeping. I just turned off gear guard completely to see if that helps.
I'm noticing the past week after the 2026.07 update something changed and my 2026 R1T is not going to sleep anymore. Something changed after this latest updated. I will open the door to my garage in the AM and I see the ambient light on in the truck. I have the auto power off setup on my Uniden...
I wanted to see if it was just me, but when I'm in Apple Music now and I try to enable "automix" it automatically disables after a second or two. I wanted to see if anyone else can verify.
Interesting I read your post. Since both of my cars charge after 1am I’m never awake to monitor the charging. I did do some messing around with it when I had two Tesla’s and I would have sworn that when one of the Tesla’s finished charging the other car still charging would ramp up from 24 amps...
Thanks for the report!
I'm hesitant to change my charger to compatibility mode because I do power sharing with another wall connector charging a Tesla. I'll wait and see what next month brings.
I should probably clarify as well. I have two Tesla Wall Connectors in a power sharing configuration. We used to have two Tesla's, now we have a Tesla and a Rivian. I read in another thread from another user with similar setup, where if he put his Rivian connector in compatibility mode, when his...
I've heard if you set your Tesla charger to compatibility mode your max charge is limited to 40 amps. Can you confirm you can charge over 40 amps in that mode?
Rivian seems to have broken something in 2025.38. Thanks!
I wanted to add my experience with my Tesla wall connector after the 2025.38 update.
When on 2025.34 I had no issues. Post 2025.38 update I've noticed when I plug in I after the normal communications and then my port on my Rivian goes RED. I unplug and replug and then everything is normal. I've...
I dropped the amps down to 40 for several days without issue, and then went to 42 amps and did a pretty lengthy charge session last night with no issues. I think I'll jump up to 44 amp tonight and see how that does for a couple nights.
I'm gonna cut mine back to 40amp, and see what happens. If that works for a while I'll bring it up in 2amp increments and see where I start having problems.
Since my charger is nacs and my Rivian is nacs I don't think this is an adapter problem for others. This is some kind of Rivian issue with...
2026 R1T with native NACS ports charging on my Tesla Wall Connector (Gen 3) that I never had a single issue with my Model Y in 3+ years, and now I don't know if my Rivian will be charged in the morning because almost every night the charging errors out and stops. I'm always sleeping when it...
