The way it was explained to be was the bolts that attach the halfshafts were the cause of the creaking because they don't hold torque spec, not hard enough material? So a new bolt revision was introduced in the manufacturing line and those bolts were updated on mine and solved the issue.

I was able to locate the applique on the highway today.... Looks like no clips were used at all even though there are holes on the roof for it, the applique just has some foam stickers over the clip points. Seems really bad to have the RTV to be the sole attachment material doing double duty as...

No chip, nothing hit it. Actually the crack is only on the inside layer of glass. It doesn't seem to go through or be visible from the outside.

The only part that might apply is the fact that the truck has been in service more than 30 days in 2 years. But I think that also needs to have an ongoing issue that can't be fixed vs multiple different issues that keep popping up.
