Just finished my install - here's some of my post install notes...
It's amazing to finally have bass! Thank you @Sojhinn !!
The clips holding the panels are a pain... But got through it ok. Only one blood blister I think.
The bolts holding the seat are also tough, I think an impact...
Question about the remote control bass knob - how often do you really use that?
Could I just mount it in the trunk area to allow some tuning if needed? On a daily drive basis, do you adjust it that much?
Trying to avoid running another wire throughout the cabin.
Just got a crack in my 2026 R1S windshield this weekend... Safelite can't get the glass yet so I have to go back to Ft Wayne again. And First appointment was end of Feb - hoping they can bump it up. :( The Indy SC can't open fast enough.
Downloaded the app. My results….
Front speakers are all “-“
Back speakers are all “+”
No wonder the sound is a mess. The back half of the car is deadening the sound from the front half. Increasing the lower frequencies makes it worse by softening and muddying the low tones overall.

Is the sub speaker grill...
I definitely recommend turning off Dolby Atmos on any source. Doing that helps lower the overbearing center speaker audio which just kills the definition and separation. That helped greatly with my system by turning it off in the Rivian Apple Music app and on my phone. I also have the other...
Also upvoting this - I like having the music going while cleaning the car or working in the garage. I'd call it a tailgate/camp/car care feature request... don't "duck" with the music.
Couple changes I made:
Turned off Atmos in the Apple Mustic app... I feel like Atmos utilizes the center speaker to create a more spacious sound effect, but there's already just too much sound coming out of the center dash speaker which kills the R - L sound isolation. Next I want to try...
I watched a video review on the audio system problems and the guy made a good point between the T and S... the size of the cabin is drastically different. The front row of the S is much farther away from the sub than the cabin of the T... and the smaller cabin likely makes the sound field...
