I had the same issue a few days after upgrading. The car was parked overnight and was not charging when this greeted me upon opening the door. I left the R1T for about an hour and the issue went away. I called Rivian support and they suggested a hardware reset. Haven't seen the issue again but...

Turns out you can lift the dash trim enough to get to the screw where the bracket needs to be installed and route the cable for a clean install. Bracket is securely attached and does not touch the wood trim. Overall, a great phone mount and an easy install. tio

Hi, I’m trying to install the ev sportline phone mount on my ‘26 R1T and I’m having a hard time popping the dash trim to get the wire and bracket installed. The instruction says to use the trim tool to pop it but the clip will not completely release the trim. Pulling harder might break the clip...
