The effect on range may be minimal on the bed but I bet it will be awful on the roof. I would like to see some detailed testing before I just left it on my bed. But that is certainly cheap enough.

Sorry, "Dynamic Load Management" is jargon. I can guess what that means, but if you could just explain it that would be better. I can only have a 30amp outlet to my charger because I only have 100amp service. I think this is cheaper than the $5000 that would be needed to upgrade my service panel.

If you set the desired miles of range at destination high enough it will add automatically along the route. If it thinks you have plenty of range at the destination it will not add any. When you ask to add I think that is when it looks for the closest, but I have not done it that way.

You need to know that running in conserve all the time will wear out the front tires much faster. So much so that it can overtake the electricity savings.
