Thank you for the photo. Accessing the battery is convenient, but, am I correct from other statements/posts that replacing the battery won't be possible by the owner (because of codes and such)?

I live 5 miles from a service center... Maybe there's still something to that (?) who knows.

FYI - my reservation was October 2025 and I received the email today for ordering September to October 2026 with a delivery range 4 to 8 weeks.

That seems to be the default allotment. Actual time will vary depending on the site and demand. In Tempe, AZ despite the 15 minute statement I actually was allowed 40 minutes. We didn't need to talk about the car and no one was signed up after me.

I'm sure there's more confirmation of this out there other than what I'm about to write: I visited a local Rivian shop and the sales guy tells me he suspects it will not be as easy as a traditional ICE vehicle but should be somewhat accessible by owner... I'm not too excited about that...

Here's real desert-world feedback on glass roof life: we've driven our Mach-E for 4.5 years now in Phoenix AZ with no heat complaints from either driver, and I have HDS (hair deficiency syndrome). I won't hesitate on glass I think it's great. I suppose I'm assuming Rivian's glass formula is...
