My guide(s) told me last Friday that they expect to see base standard and max Gen 2 R1Ts in the shop within the next 6 weeks. They are currently building up Gen 2 R1S inventory.

That's a strong indicator that Rivian is planning to sell these, right? Given the discussion here, I wonder if Rivian might be preparing to launch of a stripped down "tradesman variant" of the R1T?

I'd buy a Dual Max R1 with Ascend Trim ASAP if they offered it. I value range and comfort, not extreme performance, so a third motor doesn't appeal to me very much.
