This is awesome, we were just exploring through this same area a couple of weeks ago in our R1T, let our SOC get a lot lower, as we pulled into Blanding around 6%, having last charged at Bryce Canyon with a few % added in Boulder while at the Anasazi State Park Museum. Trip Report coming soon!
Mobile service just adjusted mine, still doesn't pop out more than a few mm, but I was hoping that was just the cold keeping it from working any better? The tech did say something about lubricating the latch, but I don't know that they did or how/what.
@BanditTA, I just went through the same back-and-forth, looking at a new 2026, a slightly used 2025, or an older GEN 1. All the things mentioned above played in the decision, I finally landed on a 2022 QUAD as I want to play rough, didn't want to worry about putting the first scratch or ding on...
Used what it showed up with - Michelin Defender LTX M/S- which are all-season, probably between half and 2/3rds of tread life left. Overall impressed. Even on the slick roads, it handled well and kept moving in the deep mud.
