I am trying to figure out the specs now as I have a few more months on my lease. Also looking at the BMW iX3. I have the 1X, but would not mind smaller but don't want to give up a lot. BMW starting at $60k while Rivian starts at $47k. That's a nice starting point.
Interesting comments here. Thank you for sharing. I love my EV, but understand the lack of uniqueness. My concern is the comment on warranty and not being repairable. I have a lease up in April and was considering purchasing and staying in the vehicle, and the warranty comment has me...
I certainly am not rich and own a high end EV and looking at Rivian. I never had kids, still married (no divorce settlements) and own my home outright. Because of all that I have a few extra bucks to upgrade a vehicle, so why not. Every circumstance is different
Thanks for the feedback, but I am not looking to justify any decision. I simply don't typically buy without seeing driving and feeling the vehicle and understanding its history and reliability. That said, I ma intrigued by Rivian ad trying to understand the excitement about the brand from...
Truly I ma trying to gte a feel for Rivian as a mfg of vehicles. I do not know much, if anything, about Rivian. I don't know their dependability and gaining insights from those that have one is important to me. I am truly looking for reasons to switch from my BMW to iX. R2 is a 1st Gen which...
The ix3 will be BMW's first venture away from the ICE models and is an EV specific vehicle. I currently have an iX which does have its drawbacks and why I am considering Rivian but when I saw the iX and the EV specific build, I became very interested. The starting price point though is $60k so...
Ive got an iX and considering the iX3. simply for the range. That was what drew me to Vivian, but now there is an option out there with equal range, but price tag will be higher
Why are you so excited about the R2 to reserve one? I am new to Rivian, never owned, and was considering the R1S. It's bigger than I need and wondering if I should eb considering the R2. Is the R2 smaller and just as competent? Any info that you can share is appreciated. my BMW lease is up...
I've been looking at a new R1T and am going to wait for the iX3 and see what they are all about.. Seems like it's a hot vehicle overseas, so I want to see what it's all about. May save some $$$ vs the R1T I'd be looking at.
