Not an electrician, but if you are hearing sizzling and popping sound from the breaker, and also tripping, that’s most likely the culprit. Have an electrician check and replace it.

You can also select a vehicle that you see and like in the R1 shop, but once you pick a vehicle from the shop, it’s one and done , no going back, can’t change your mind, and if you do change your mind, you going back to your original delivery date.

You have access to the shop until your vehicle is built, once your specific vehicle is built for you, then shop access is taken away, and then the 8 steps and vin number shows up in your account.

Within the next day or so you will be getting a vin number, so get ready to purchase your vehicle. That’s what happened to me. Congrats! If you still have access to the R1 shop, the 8 steps will not show up in your account until your vehicle is ready for delivery.

My delivery was to the SSF SC. 8 steps opened up on 3/19 and delivery was made on Saturday 4/8. Approximately 19 days. Yours sure be here any day now. Get ready! What’s your config?

Finally arrived! Got the 8 steps 3/20/2023 and picked up the R1S today at 130pm. 19 days total from Normal, IL to SSF sc including prep time. Long time waiting but very happy with the end result. Wife says she loves her car.

My R1S is enroute to the SC in the Bay Area. Also got a test drive appt on the R1S this coming Monday afternoon. I’m hoping the vehicle will be ready for pick up before the end of March. Almost done with the 8 steps.

Besides the shimmy/wobble at highway speeds, are you experiencing any other issues besides that? If not, it seems that wobble and shimmy are very fixable issues. It’s unfortunate that the alignment issues were not discovered prior to your pick up, but s___ happens. Why did you buy a rivian...

Original configuration since 11/27/2018. Never changed. Not shop selected.

Yes. Once you select and confirm in the shop, you lose the shop. So it’s one and done.
