  1. 22" Inch 22” wheels with stock scorpions vs. 20” wheels with high efficiency all-season tires: real world range difference

I just switched my winter set to 20” Atomic AWDF wheels with Michelin Defender LTX tires. They replaced the stock 22” wheels with Pirelli tires. Once I cycle through the season I’ll report the data. The winter set had a pretty good MPK for a winter set that were 3-peak rated so we’ll see how...

  8. 22" Inch 22” wheels with stock scorpions vs. 20” wheels with high efficiency all-season tires: real world range difference

Thanks for the information, very helpful. I did find when I put my winter set 3-peak rated tires on 20” rims the range decreased significantly, but I expected that due to the tire makeup for snow/ice. I’d like to keep the 20” rims with a higher sidewall if the range difference isn’t going to...
  9. 22" Inch 22” wheels with stock scorpions vs. 20” wheels with high efficiency all-season tires: real world range difference

Does anyone have experience with swapping the 22” stock sport rims with 20” rims with a high efficiency road tire, such as Hankook ION HT? Not looking for a difference with AT tires, would be interested in range difference between the two wheels with like high efficiency, low rolling resistance...
