We did the 3 kids with a Model Y for 2 years. Unless your kids are small and get along great, I would recommend springing for the R1S or keep a Model 3 or Y and get a different 3 row SUV or Van. If 80k is your limit, totally worth a different paint color & no ppf imo to get the Rivian.

Ha! Looks like we're twins too except you have the underbody shield. I haven't seen an R1S here at all and only one R1T so far. I'm a bit north of Charlotte though in the Concord / Huntersville area.

Congrats! I just took delivery of a El Cap R1S on Saturday and can convey a similar experience but not entirely issue free. I was worried there would be panel gaps everywhere, rattling, battery dying on the 2nd day or exploding at charging from all the threads. Thankfully none of those issues...
