Received my invite to order on Tuesday this week and waited till yesterday to order. Glacier white with Black Crater interior. I can post more but we all get the idea. Curious to see how long it will take for delivery. Our first EV and very excited to be part of the Rivian family.

I never said it was junk. I think is amazing. But, that fact that you hear of so many issues turned me off to the R1 series. As amazing and great as we all think it is, it's a failure point and potentially a very expensive one.

The R2 is a substantial investment, if we can call it that. I decided to look at other trucks for giggles and I was flabbergasted to see the price on a FORD Shelby F-150. It was priced 100K MORE than the R2. Stunning really how expensive transportation has become.

Rivian knows they have to do the launch not just perfectly but better than expected. I think they will have Gen 3 hardware sooner than we realize. I also think they will wrap up the launch edition sooner than expected and go with the mainstream R2 with LiDAR. It's just a guess. It's a 100%...
