Until you're out in the boonies of Colorado or Wyoming where it's mostly CCS, or Tesla v2 that are Tesla-only. It's improving but probably at least a few years before a non-Tesla can go adapterless out here.

I got Sept-Nov 26. Reserved March 2026, not a Rivian owner. I said I was interested in the launch edition and gave them details on my lease ending early 2028(!) So I won't be ordering anything until late 2027. I was actually expecting an order window of mid 2027 because of my end of lease date.

I answered Definitely to that question, even though I made my reservation in March 2026 and my current lease isn't up until the start of 2028. If the launch edition is still available then, I'll go for it!
