They let you pick when they happen? Wow. My Jeeps just do the updates whenever they want to. When you first turn the vehicle on, when you're on the highway, when you're about to park and shut it off. Good times.

Great news. AT&T cell service is way overloaded in my area. It always shows a full signal but nothing loads. My parents have a Model Y and they were visiting us a few weeks ago. Tesla must use AT&T service as well because everything was buffering.

Can Rivians do software updates over WiFi as well? If you live in an area where AT&T doesn't get good service, is there a way to tether another carrier from your phone?

Length is about the same as my Wrangler if I include the spare tire on the back on the back of the Wrangler. R2 is lower so I'm good there. The R2 is listed at about 10 inches wider though? The graphic makes it seem like they aren't including the mirrors in the measurements.

Would we be able to update the tire size in the settings menu? Or do they only let us choose between the OEM tire sizes?

The R1 has 33'' tires and the R2 has 32'' tires.

Added. Looking at the R2 Performance w/ Launch Package and 20'' wheels. Still undecided on paint color but leaning towards Launch Green or Catalina Cove.
