Not your experience. Sorry if I wan't clear. I am using that as an extreme example.
One can't have both. Can't have speed set desired, and have true hands free. True hands free means the car dictates the speed for the situation. I know you don't want that, but you can't tell a computer to...
I agree, but there in the thought creates some conflicting issues. Car says 65 is safe as top speed. Driver wants Driver Assistance to go 80. Can't have both.
"Max speed control is an anti-pattern. We are working on better learning of user's implied preferences." Ashok Elluswamy
In simple terms. The way Tesla looks at FSD. Driver input is a risk input. Give them the ability to go faster in theory better than a human driver can by providing...
I can't tell you how many times I have seen this. Couple stranded wondering why the Chevy Equinox won't work on the old Tesla Supercharger. Trust the car, not third party apps on which to pick from.
Reserved on June 9th a LE R2 in LG. Said Nov-Dec 2026.
Took delivery of a R1S last Thursday. My R2 invite to order date was just moved up to Sep-Oct yesterday.
Seems to be a more relaxed launch. People aren't chasing delivery trucks and checking vins.
Looks like you said. Fell off. If it was ripped off or did other damage that would point to other causes. Not here. Let us know, and what the cause was.
I feel so liberated now that I can go 73 or 74. Just got a R1S last week.
While I will admit I love HW4 driving on Tesla. Point to point even on my NF Fire roads. With a decade of Tesla and more than a half a million AP miles driven. I would say Rivian is 2 years behind, and in much need of...
Short. New to the brand, decade plus ev owner. Need some real non AI experiences
Moving on from a Cybertruck. Thought initially R2, but with our dogs and range being king for our cross country and cross state drives. We needed the room, and the R1S we find appealing and capable. Also don't...
I saw this. Laughed. 350k in miles on my Model S filled with mud, ice, snow. Same design with lip that would supposedly collect everything and make my wheels out of balance. Never had to rebalance my 2 pair of winter and summer wheels in all the years.
Yes do people still push bushings in to a part or do they just now replace the whole part. Sorry not familiar with this stuff, but I have had bushings fail in the past and they usually just replace the part.
All the EV's we have owned have really only had suspension problems, and minor interior issues.
2 cars with over 300k and one at 190k.
It's a different world with the things that fail on EV's. Batteries and motors tend to do well. That is why I never purchased outside post warranty...
That's funny. I have always looked at these types of posts for years on many types of products. Why people post them, and what in short they are trying to accomplish. Thanks for your applause. Not many are capable of understanding my sentences. You must be more than capable.
@Morgan J Very good breakup letter. Bravo:clap:
This is adaptive, high-functioning behavior. The person demonstrates good reflective capacity, emotional regulation, and ability to prioritize relational (family) safety over sunk-cost fallacy or brand loyalty. There are no clear signs of...
Tesla designed the external bumper access system so it only works when the vehicle is completely dead. So going up to the emergency access point and testing cars to open won't work unless a thief just happens to stumble along a Tesla with a dead battery. Which I would guess isn't a really...
Cargo area. Not person area, or living area. Yep cargo area is what it is called. I don't consider my dogs cargo. So they ride second row. If one needs another conditioned row. It sounds pretty easy and OP answered own question. Buy one with a third row and conditioning. Problem solved.
I took my Tesla back in to have front bumper and hood redone after 5 years. Before they were a no name place and did an awesome job. Sent them dozens of referrals. Got it back after redo and looked like crap. I even said what the heck? I liked you guys when small. Now your QC went out the...
Similar experiences. It is wonderful. Hard for those that had AP3 or prior to tell say what AP4 is like. Plenty of empty promises. It is very different. Multi-state driving along with supercharger to supercharger. Getting more and more compliant for face attentiveness as each update...
10 year old Tesla. 165 updates. Less than in the beginning. Now maybe 5 or 6 a year. Often security, and minor improvements. Early days excitement, now don't even pay attention.
Not a concern of mine with Rivian. I think more of the line of a car company than a software system. I think...
