  1. SF, CA -> Bend, OR -- favorite chargers?

Yeah, the stop by Sundial Bridge at Turtle Bay Exploration Park is awesome! It’s a bit out of the way, but it’s always enjoyable hanging out there. The chargers all kind of suck though. Still worth the stop every time.
  2. Growing efficiency Gap: R2 w/ 21" vs. 20" tire sets

70-75 is not normal for a typical commute. It’s also not a 100-0 speed range tested by the EPA. You are confusing YouTubers as government agency employees.
  3. Growing efficiency Gap: R2 w/ 21" vs. 20" tire sets

Except this vehicle wasn’t promoted as being a Prius. It’s a comfortable outdoor adventure/performance vehicle with plenty of storage. It’s fun to drive except when you don’t feel like it, then there’s autonomy plus to fall back on (when it’s ready). It tocks all of those boxes. On any given...

Everything left on at home EXCEPT for Wi-Fi. It slept like a baby and didn’t even need a bottle 😊

You have to add them to your R2 order to get the adapters for free. They will be converted from a dollar amountto ā€œincludedā€ once you get closer to completing your R2 order.

  9. NACS adapter holder for R2 rear driver cubby (3D print files)

I bought a pizza this weekend, and when I walked up to the car, the rear glass rolled down perfectly. Put the pizza in, tried to roll the window up, and it did not. See David Vaughts, Rear Window Olympics on YouTube. This thing is not yet guaranteed to work as it should.
  10. NACS adapter holder for R2 rear driver cubby (3D print files)

I need one for the Right glovebox or lower drawer. I don’t want to raise the tailgate when I need to charge at non-NACS locations

  12. R2 unexpected Drain - 7% over 4 days.

Asleep all night at the shop! Which probably means nothing. It hasn’t been driven in 2 days. At least we know the battery drain doesn’t continue. You can see where I woke up the R2 around 8am. To get the data flowing to Rivian Roamer.
  13. R2 unexpected Drain - 7% over 4 days.

It’s been in the shop since yesterday, with Wi-Fi turned on but nothing to connect to, and it’s sleeping just fine. No clue if it’s uploading data, but it’s sleeping. Our phones are here at home, and the vehicle has been in the detail shop with a key card since yesterday and hasn’t been locked...
  14. R2 unexpected Drain - 7% over 4 days.

Except none of this battery drain appears to be related to Gear Guard.
  15. R2 unexpected Drain - 7% over 4 days.

I just realized I could calculate the battery drain using Rivian Romer data. you can see the battery percentage in the screenshots below for Monday between the hours of midnight and around 6:30 AM. It does slow down the data uploads between 6:30-8am. where you can see the data stopped uploading...
  16. R2 unexpected Drain - 7% over 4 days.

For me, it’s averaging 2.5 kWh a day (24 hours), so I’m not sure how it’s affecting it just for those overnight hours.
  17. R2 unexpected Drain - 7% over 4 days.

Figured it out. It’s staying awake because it is uploading data over WiFi. You can see the overnight data for Saturday and Sunday, and then the weekly totals compared to the Rivian Roamer screenshot above. My guess is if you turn R2’s Wi-Fi off at home, phantom drain will stop. Anywhere else it...
