    To be fair it did not look that complicated. The biggest thing is I don't like working in the panel. I suppose if I had more time and energy I would be more willing to do it myself.

    Yes, if it wasn't critical I would have skipped it. I mean it was everything you should expect. Wire, conduit, breaker, etc. I think the problem we are having is that there is no shortage of work so prices keep going up. But that may just be me trying to rationalize haha...

    I used ACW Electric. My run was super short like 5 feet. It cost $875. Double check your service before you install because if you hit your limit and need a service upgrade that is some $$$.

    Yeah, annoyingly I don't know of any in Huntsville proper. Thus the home charger is almost a must. I had to bum off my buddy's tesla home charger until I got my home charger set up. There are a few in surrounding cities but just not in Huntsville. https://www.plugshare.com/

    I will have to ping a coworker for the Taco's distance but for the Rivian that is the first thing I plan on doing when it comes back.

    Do you know what the exact measurements of the difference between the rail and the top of the Tacoma bed and the Rivian bed? I'm interested in determining the compatibility of the CBI Overland Rack with both setups.

    Yes, my truck is in service for other cosmetic issues including this. Same trim position is lifting on mine as well.

    My local detailer offers Hexis products, whereas I mostly hear about Xpel. Have you worked with or seen any Hexis installations? How do they compare?

    This is good info and I hope I am successful also. I will be installing a wall charger but the schedule is very delayed so I will have to make due until I get an appointment. Receiving the truck early is a welcome surprise but no delivery time yet. The wait is really hard now haha...

    Well the clock is counting down on my Rivian! I was told last Thursday that it was in transit to my local service center (ATL). Any idea on the expected time frame from your experiances? What should I do in the steps and in what order? Any pitfalls I should know about?

    Thanks! I am excited. Yes, north Alabama. It has been torture seeing all the R1Ts in my city. I have to see two every morning. They share my commute and then others around town. I have only seen one R1S.

    Yes, I just happened to do a search right when they were available. Completely by chance. I immediately snapped it up and then called my guide to confirm there wasn't a mistake haha... Config was: Blue, Adventure, Quad motor, Large battery, 20" All terrain, Black mountain + dark ash wood...

    Three R1T with powered tonneau just showed up in the R1 Shop.

    It was a complete shock to my guide when I pointed this out and I picked up the blue one... He confirmed that it was manufactured in Aug 22 and our best guess is that it was defective in some way and just got "refreshed or rebuilt". It does have the original powered tonneau.
