Oof... the bumper/winch option was something I was really looking forward to. Guess the aftermarket will have to fill the void.

For my Tacoma I used a curved ramp to get my sportbike into the bed. Helped with loading/unloading for sure

Looks like another enjoyer of trackdays on 2 wheels. I had a bed extender on my Tacoma and it was super useful for hauling the track moto and related supplies (ramp/stands/cans). I'll be using a trailer with thr R1S but hope to see some good options pop up here for the truck folks.

We are in a similar spot too.. H1 2023 estimated window for our R1S and also looking at the Audi eTron. We were able to get a test drive and really like it but haven't pulled the trigger on it (hoping the Rivian production ramp catches up). The other vehicle we are considering is the Cadillac...

As someone who uses their sliders on my overland rig... it more of a question of utility. A vehicle as heavy as an R1* could do serious damage to itself if caught in a situation without sliders. Better to have it and not use them vs needing them and wishing you had. That being said... don't...

Finally something about how a winch would integrate... an R1* would need a beefy winch to say the least. Curious to see the space where it would live.

I'm sure Gobi will have a full length rack designed in short order once they get their hands on a vehicle to measure. Like others have said it's about getting the aftermarket producers some vehicles to start solutioning outside the OEM options
