    Maybe your service center is not as busy. He also mentioned that there was very low inventory on the new parts. My VIN is very close to yours (#55XX) and no word. Maybe he is just BSing. :)

    Talking to the Brooklyn technician yesterday he says the fix to improve the cover was to increase the leaf spring that pushes the slates up. It doesn't appear to be that much of a redesign. He also said, If your cover works, it will not be retrofitted until it fails.

    The rubber seal at the end doesn't compress as much as the original design. Concerned that more water will make its way into the bed along that interface.
