2022 R1T quad. Driven entirely in all purpose, low suspension.
21” OEMs wore out at 16.5K - ~3mm all around.
Replaced with 20” rim and Michelin Defenders. Much quieter, less precise in handling, less efficient. Will have to see how they wear (~700 miles so far).
Thanks for the response. The efficiency is very erratic - more finicky than with the Pirelli. Doesn't appear to stabilize even after the battery and other components have warmed up. Will have to try a longer road trip and see if the tradeoff for more tire options was worth it.
@Indy avocado what’s your efficiency been with this setup? I just made this exact switch and saw my efficiency drop tremendously. From avg 2.3mi/kWh to 1.8 mi/kWh, roughly.

I believe they used some sort of double sided tape to correct this in my T. Things were quiet briefly but the heat in Phoenix undid the fix so it is back on my list for re-repair. Hopefully Rivian has a more robust solution they can apply next time.
I had (and continue to have a little bit) of the same problem. Same resolution as @Lil'Dave but mine still has a little rattle depending on the road surface. Will have to press all around to see if a clip isn't in place.
I had a full front PPF, ceramic coat and tinting done. Window tint has bubbles ?. The PPF isn't fully wrapped (specifically the flat front between headlights) with about 1/8” to 1/4” of panel still exposed on edges (maybe that is normal?).
@AZ_Rivian if you could, please let me know your experience there. Just got my truck back and clearly either I do not understand what “fully wrapped” and “you wont be able to tell its there” mean or the job was done poorly. For a detailer, they do not appear to pay attention to detail (not to...
Have found the AC to be a bit weak - hoping tint will help. Also found the vehicle to be more efficient on the highway than during street driving. I can’t tell yet whether that is the norm or due to the heat and better cooling at speed.
Got a call from an Xpel installer today and they confirmed the same about the wrapped edges. They also said the Rivian deal does not include lights…
If I’m concerned about the front, I figure lights are included in that concern. Also, not having edges wrapped means you can tell where the film is...
To me the limestone color has the slightest of blue hue but is certainly much more grey. As its been described before, a chameleon depending on the lighting. Overall, definitely what I had hoped for.
Yeah, the LE designation per the VIN wasn’t worth it to me since I wasn’t leveraging the free upgrades. It did seem wrong to drop the “LE” after 1300+ days of patience.
The stock does seem to update as indicated - and get snagged quickly. I had access this morning, saw a truck matching my config (everything except being an LE - which didn’t matter since I was getting Limestone with 21” wheels) and selected it. Looks like the rest of the options went quick...
My shop access finally went live so now to the choices. I think the only diff between LE and adventure is the badging and the wrist band key (esp if you’re going for the 21” wheels). If I can get the wrist band included, the badging isn't a big deal so if the rest of the config matches, I’ll go...
Thanks ?. This whole experience continues to add to my frustrations and disappointment with Rivian. Not only can they not get me back into a build schedule - even though their screw-up pulled my config from the queue - they can’t seem to figure out how to give me access to the store as a...
