5.5kwh is a lot of energy for electronics, I don't think the services will consume even close to that order. Microcontrollers and processors are very powerful and efficient nowadays... just look at your phone. The drain is more like conditioning, like the battery or cabin.

IMO this is one of the things Rivian copied from Tesla but shouldn't have. Modern touch-unlock works very well without the phone key. I don't understand why they have to reinvent it.

I wouldn't call a car salesman a parasite even though I never liked them. A ticket scalper is definitely a parasite.
