Totally sucks. Why not make them take it as a trade in and ask what their best deal would be for a new one? Agree that I wouldn't take the old one back. They should try to work with you, but probably just giving you a new one isn't really going to happen since yours wasn't really new.
It doesn’t show up on my watch as an available app. Service guy said it needs to be generated by the truck first or something to that effect. Could be the watch, not sure what it is but has OS 10.6.2 not 11
I haven't been able to get the Rivian app onto my apple watch after the upgrade. Talked to the service people when I had the R1T if for the recall repair and they said it can be a bit wonky with Gen 1. Has anyone found a way to get the app onto their I-watch with Gen 1 Rivian? Any suggestions...
Always gotta think twice before betting on the one man that has accomplished more than any dozen others I can think of including Steve Jobs in such a short time-span. I'm just glad he is an American and not Iranian, Russian, Chinese or North Korean! Of course his plans are ambitious, what...
Drove to MI ski resort yesterday, outside temp 19, 125 mile drive. Selected an EA supercharger about 30 min before getting there, watched motor temps, running around 100 jump up to Orange in 200 degree range, seeme it would alternate front, back and left right a bit to not get too hot while...
I'm always uneasy whether it is the plastic OEM jack or a 8000 lb bottle jack that I also use. When truck is lifted it is angled a bit and always seems that success vs disaster is separated by a fine line, although perhaps perception is scarier than reality.
I think snow mode only reduces input from the accelerator. Acceleration is usually no issue in the snow when in all purpose. If snow mode had a special adjustment to super low regen it would be valuable, but putting in snow mode doesn't change regen mode (which logically it should) so as far...
Key thing is put regen in low to avoid skidding when tires loose grip in higher modes of regen. At low I have had no problems on snow and ice in MI with AT 20 Scorpions. The R1T in all purpose is amazingly solid in winter conditions, even strong winds don't phase it due to weight. The truck...
ok, good to know. Hopefully Rivian will rethink this a bit since in some cases it may dangerous to pull over right away and the warning is obnoxious. A gentle ding like seatbelt warning would be appreciated!
humm, that looks like the message but there was nothing in the gear tunnel. Interesting, so they have sensors in the gear tunnel? Would that have gone away when I pulled over without opening the gear tunnel door?
They just replaced my air compressor (which seemed to be working fine) as well as the front and rear dampers for free after a comprehensive inspection. I think for the most part the R1T is bullet-proof and should easily keep me happy for a decade. I have heard on this site that Rivian replaced...
I had the strangest thing happen last night, never had it before. I have '22 R1T and had a lone cooler in the bed. I took a turn onto a road and heard the cooler slide and make a slight thump against the other side of the bed. It wasn't heavily loaded, only a few items, and I wasn't worried...
That is so good to hear, thanks for sharing. Quick shout out to Rivian and the Caledonia Michigan Rivian Service Center. Such a great company and people. I have '22 RIT and brought it in for minor squeak noise at 43K to get an overall inspection. They found leaking rear dampers so scheduled...
