The demo unit I was in had similar issues with the ventilated seats. The fan was vibrating the back of the seat noticeably, and the fan itself had a high pitched whine. Couldnāt get to another one to confirm whether it was a one-off or theyāre all like this.

I have just seen a ton of anecdotal conversation, but no one has definitively shown that the R2 glass is any different than the R1 (at least the gen1 or non diffusing glass).
I donāt remember our gen 1 R1S feeling that solid out of the shop the first time. The R2 is clearly a labor of experience and lessons learned. It was especially nice not to have the crashy and yet simultaneously floaty suspension.

Edit: Finally got an email notification confirming my R2 demo drive. However my Rivian app still shows it as an R1T demo drive. Little things, early adopter, etc etc. Woof.

I meant a notification that you could schedule. Itās splitting hairs, but an interesting choice as a reservation holder that the public that happens across the website could technically get to schedule theirs faster.

Pretty shitty - I never got a notification nor was it available in my Rivian app, but I went to the website, didnāt even log in, and was able to select the R2 and book it for tomorrow.
Iāve opened up an official case for it, but Iām curious if anyone else is experiencing this same behavior. Iāve done a soft reset and full reset, signed out of Apple Music and signed back in for both profiles and the behavior is still intermittently exhibited.

Received a call recently from the Rivian service contact center that they wanted to schedule our R1S (Gen 1) in for a TSB to replace some part of the coolant systems (best I could get out of them is the expansion tank). Has anyone else been called about this?
