VW would just slow down Rivian on anything which matters. They are a slow moving dinosaur when it comes to creating technologically advanced cars. I can only imagine that VW would get in the way of any big decision making.
He for sure is the likeliest presidential candidate to drive a Rivian.
Obviously that short article is a huge clickbait and engagement getter. Everyone has a point of view on Idiot drivers.
My wife says Mercedes drivers (she drove one for a few years ;-)
To me its most pimped up vehicles...
I love that $1.50/min charge for overstaying and blocking a charge station. 25 cents would be awesome and very reasonable. But would worry it attracts everyone away from EA chargers and all stalls being taken. OK with charge per mins as well to encourage mainly up to 80% charge.
The most recent GLOWING Chevy EV Review overlooking or not even commenting on glaring items such as the hideous tablet/user interface for a 80k truck.... or the so over the top love for the ID buzz... show me he is now an EV promoter used by companies as 'first drive' marketer. Guess thats the...

Didn't put PPF on mine in case I might want to sell as you never get the money back.... plus other disadvantages
What is your struggle?
Do you think he gets much of the money he invested in PPF back? Maybe 50%... it probably helps selling. But no one is paying 7k extra...
Watched your videos as an ID4 owner and now R1T owner... While the ID4 was practical well priced family EV the Rivian is my absolute dream vehicle I intend to keep for a long time (I do spend most of my weekends driving to lakes though and do lots of camping). Its a luxury I convinced my wife I...
Thank you.... these are much more disappointing numbers than the initial impression. Keep us posted on long term values including changes you have made.
Some safe way to run a cable from Gear Tunnel to truck bed would be great as well... and should be easy to achieve? I like idea of use of lithium battery in truck bed with power running to fridge in gear tunnel or backseat... dont want to waste the geartunnel space for the battery. Also was...
I really like to have the back window available, plus easier reach into the truck bed and while this will have some efficiency impact it does look like not much at all looking at the numbers. Close to pull the trigger on these, but would love to see some longer term data.
You can also just update your order via chat.... I even did that on weekend.... and voila my order was updated within a few days. Patiently waiting for the rockers....
Agreed, if the Rivian manual cover does not include use of that storage space there are likely many other more cost efficient and maybe even more practical products available.
I plan to buy some plywood next weekend with some paint for less than 100$ and get a temporary cheap fix which will...
I think they were under pressure to longer delivering costly automated covers and for folks who wanted to go manual there was no design in manufacturing to remove this now wasted integrated area. They probably hoped the manual option would also allow the cover to disappear in that compartment...
As thrilled new owner of the R1T I wasn't too unhappy about not receiving the automatic tonneau cover given the issues.
But as even the likely Rivian manual cover or any other after market tonneau covers would not use the space planned for tonneau cover 'tiles':
I was hoping I get a few more...
Reason I decided to keep our Tacoma.... outside of our youngest now learning to drive in fantastic small truck. I probably chose the Tacoma for vacation trip to Moab and cross country up North. Even though summer usually are less stressful.... anxiety being stranded with broken chargers and...
I like this much better.... not so busy and 'star like'.... should also help with dirt NOT getting on top.
Still waiting for the rock slider version as I would love to be able to get tires rotated not using the pucks.... plus the additional protection going a bit 'too low'.
don't share garbage articles like this.... clicks is all these people want. I am not gonna click on it.... the quotes you provided are enough to understand this person has an agenda and wants clicks via extreme position
Will get my R1T in next weeks.... will follow this as I would love to continue storing some boxes in truck bed without getting soaked and out of sight. Am I assuming right that if the panels slide in and the tailgate is closed and locked there is really no easy way for someone to get to the...
Replacing my 2019 Tacoma with a R1T later this year... wife tries to convince me to keep it as it has been such a good 'adventure truck' for me (plus going all electric still makes her nervous). But I doubt it would get much use. Best part is that I almost get my money back on 40k miles Toyota...
