    If the demand slows down, then probably not. I guess they plan for the best case scenarios.

    Making a product in anticipation of IRA ($7500) in 2-3 years from now is a very bad plan. IRA won't last long when the battery price starts to go down and matches that of the ICE. The vehicle needs to be at < $40000 without the IRA included.

  19. R1S battery outdated already?

    Until I ee the solid state battery, any enhancements are pretty much minor or different options. Cheaper LFP battery may be available as option in 2024... but i doubt that's a replacement for current battery. Just a cheaper alternative.
