I received the mirror glass replacement and swapped it out this afternoon. I just got back from a test drive. The mirror works great! The blind spot indicator works just fine and the car alerts me if I try to move into the right-hand lane when there is a car next to me. I'll stay on alert...

I bought the mirror glass replacement off if eBay today. I'll let everyone know how it goes. I may try to order new glass from Rivian as a backup.

Thank you. I only need the mirror glass, which I found on eBay, as you and others suggested. I'm a little surprised that replacing the mirror glass, which pops into and out of the assembly fairly easily, requires much calibration. I understand the need for calibration if the entire assembly...

I cracked the side-view mirror on the passenger side of my R1S (mirror-to-mirror contact with FedEx truck; FedEx truck mirror was fine). The BLIS still works, the camera in the mirror still works and the mirror fold and unfolds without a problem. Rivian told me that I need to have the mirror...

Well done, R1T_Malach! I'm in NoVA as well and took my quad motor Gen 1 R1S with 22s for a spin in the snow for the first time. It handled the snow and hills (all paved streets) well - except one. I tried (twice)to drive up a short, steep, snow-covered hill in snow mode and the R1S just cut...

Arlington Autocare was able to address my issue. There was a nail in the sidewall, so ended up with a new tire. Turns out Arlington Autocare has worked on other Rivians.

No large tub. I’m going to try a couple of other tire stores around me. Thanks again.

Much appreciated. I took it to one shop that looked at the tire and couldn’t find a nail or screw. They didn’t take off the wheel, though.

Does anyone know where I can get a leak in a 22” tire fixed in NoVA (preferably someplace relatively close to Arlington)? I’m having a really hard time getting any of the garages/tire shops to do it. Some shops want to put the vehicle on a rack, but can’t lift the 7,000 lb R1S. Others don’t...
